Maine Quilts is located in Gardiner, Maine USA and is
owned and operated by Roxy Getchell; a hard working
mother of 3 now grown children. Roxy has always been
inspired by the Maine outdoors and the beautiful Maine
coast. Surrounded and inspired by all this natural
beauty Roxy began creating artworks both in contemporary
media and then in her first love; quilts!
Often these designs are whimsical and created from her
minds eye, and sometimes taken from life, a good example
of this would be her lighthouse series which feature
actual lighthouses from the coast of Maine. Because of
Roxy's far reaching and varied inspirations we are sure
her designs will appeal to many tastes, which is why in
2002 Roxy formed Mystic Maine Quilts and this (we hope
you agree) GREAT website!
We strive to provide beautiful heirloom quality quilts
inspired by our wonderful natural world. Each quilt is
sewn with love and formed with the inspiration of an
